About Michael... 

My name is Michael Robison.  I am the owner of Michael’s Water Consultation Service. My sweetheart and spouse is Dr. Denice M. Moffat of Natural Health Techniques.com www.naturalhealthtechniques.com.  

I was born and raised in the Salinas/Monterey area of West/Central California. The Monterey area is known for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, fantastic sea food, world-class golf courses, and fabulous views. The Salinas Valley is known for growing a wide variety of crops; fruit, vegetables, nuts, dairy and much more. Artichokes grown in Castroville, California, the “Artichoke Capital of the World” are my favorite. If you want to learn how to choose the best tasting artichokes, just ask. As an adult, I had homes in West/Central and North/East California, North/West Washington State and North/Central Idaho where I now reside. While I’ve enjoyed all of those areas, North/Central Idaho and in particular, Latah County, is by far my favorite! Over the years, I was employed as a farm hand, ranch hand, carpenter’s helper (my father was a carpenter), laborer, handyman, telephone man, supervisor/manager, salesman, consultant, business owner, and bureaucrat (city and county). I administered a planning & zoning department, a weed control department and a flood control project. One of my past business ventures included water treatment product sales… where I garnered a great deal of my early water treatment experience.  Most recently, I was employed (part-time) by EcoWater Systems of Moscow, Idaho.

As a Water Treatment Consultant, I visit with folks about the quality of their water.  I listen as they express their concerns and describe the challenges they are experiencing. 

After testing their water myself or after reviewing the professional laboratory water analysis report they’ve provided, I offer treatment recommendations I believe will “cure” those challenges. As I gather the necessary information in preparation for providing a recommendation, I am creating the mental picture of… “What is needed to provide this client with the quality of water they desire?” 

I am the type of fellow who, whenever a client asks a question, I’ll provide what information I have available in the moment and then, if needed, I’ll continue to research that topic… to insure I haven’t missed something. I am constantly on the watch for new (and possibly better) water treatment techniques and products. Over the years, I’ve collected a great deal of information in the form of client handouts… which have now become a large portion of the articles offered on this website.  Note: I began first offering bits and pieces of this free information as “Water pages” on my lovely spouse’s website, www.naturalhealthtechniques.com.

I always check and recheck my work to insure I have recommended the best possible, most cost-effective water treatment techniques and products. I never hesitate to confer with a more knowledgeable source when the situation calls for greater knowledge than I possess. *Often I check with others just to insure I haven’t missed something. I will always suggest a lower priced option if it will meet your needs and desires, however, I recommend only high quality products. I will never recommend or sell anyone a product that is not needed.
