Vitamin C Cold and Flu Drink:

Ingredients for the Cold and Flu Drink:

  • 8 oz. Black Tea
  • 2 Tablespoons Orange Tang or the juice of 1 Orange
  • 2 Teaspoons Raw Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cranberry Concentrate (not juice)
  • Juice of 1 whole Fresh Lemon
  • 1 ounce Brandy--not flavored (optional)

Cold and Flu Drink 1

Directions for building the Cold and Flu Drink:

Take boiling hot water and pour eight ounces over a black tea bag in a large mug. Add the orange Tang or juice, raw honey, and cranberry juice. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the mug, then add the brandy (optional) and sip until gone. You may desire to heat it up a bit more but don’t let it boil or you’ll kill all the enzymes and Vitamin C. Repeat one additional day if necessary.

I’ve used this recipe for many years with great success for myself, friends, family members and employees.

This recipe is loaded with Vitamin C so I am sharing it with you. What I like about it is that it is highly diaphoretic (it makes you sweat.) Sweating raises your body temperature, which will then fry out most of those cold and flu causing bugs. Using a sauna the first day of symptoms will also accomplish this goal (especially if your illness is caused from a virus), but it doesn’t taste as good and you have to drive to get there.
