“Frito-Lay is being sued by a Massachusetts woman for allegedly deceptively marketing its “Light” potato chips. Those chips are made with olestra, a fat substitute that sometimes causes diarrhea, stomach cramps, dizziness, vomiting and other symptoms. She is asking the court to order Frito-Lay to require labels on Light chips warning consumers about the possible adverse reactions. (Denice’s note: Can you imagine the marketing campaign on that one? What a crack up.)

Urinary Incontinence in Dogs

Larger breed dogs are more prone to urinary incontinence and this is usually from lack of estrogen. Black cohosh is a natural estrogen replacement. If this treatment doesn’t work it’s best to take your dog in for a urine test to rule out bladder stones, diabetes or a chronic urinary tract infection although I often wonder if there is an allergic factor involved sometimes like in human urinary incontinence.
