Vitamin C Cold and Flu Drink:
- 8 oz. Black Tea
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Tang
- 2 Teaspoons Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cranberry Concentrate (not juice)
- Juice of 1 whole Fresh Lemon
- 1 ounce Brandy (optional)
Take boiling hot water and pour eight ounces over a black tea bag in a large mug. Add the orange Tang, honey, and cranberry juice. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the mug, then add the brandy (optional) and sip until gone. Repeat one additional day if necessary.
I’ve used this recipe for many years with great success for myself, friends, family members and employees.
This recipe is loaded with Vitamin C so I am sharing it with you. What I like about it is that it is highly diaphoretic (it makes you sweat.) Sweating raises your body temperature, which will then fry out most of those cold and flu causing bugs. Using a sauna the first day of symptoms will also accomplish this goal, but it doesn’t taste as good and you have to drive to get there.
