Dr. Moffat’s NATURAL HEALTH TECHNIQUES NEWSLETTER

August 2014     Volume 10 Number 3

In This Issue:

(Please note that full names are never used in this newsletter or on my website without the full consent of the sender or client. Some cases also encompass groupings of cases with similar symptoms and suggestions for healing in an attempt to educate the general public.)

Featured Case: Interstitial Cystitis (IC), Painful Bladder Syndrome (PBS) or Bladder Pain Syndrome

If you know of someone with this condition, you can be sure that their lives are totally centered around where all the toilets are—even when taking short trips.

Statistics:

Interstitial cystitis (in-tur-STISH-ul sis-TIE-tis) is defined as recurring pain or discomfort in the bladder and surrounding pelvic (perianal) regions in both men but mostly women over the age of 30. This condition is a sign of a toxic body and is often associated with other inflammatory conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Interstitial Cystitis causes scarring and stiffness of the bladder which affects the nerves in that area that signal the need to urinate. Some people with this condition have been known to need to use the bathroom up to 60 times within a 24 hour period—as you can imagine this interferes greatly with any social, work and sexual intimacy situations.

Natural medicine can greatly help many of these cases, which is why I’m writing about it for Featured Case this month. Read about the symptoms, potential causes, medical and alternative medicine treatments, diagnosis, keeping a bladder journal, foods that help the bladder and more.

Client Testimonials:

Dr. Denice: I feel really good about this latest program and that we will be touching base more frequently. I have such a sensitive body and it changes so quickly. I really want you to know how much you have helped me already in only 2 months. Prior to seeing you, I was having between 3 and 8 loose bowel movements per day and my bowels normalized within a few days of being on the diet. I have had people trying to eliminate the parasites for years, to no avail. My hair loss dropped within a couple of days and is improving… The list goes on, Denice. I think what you do is absolutely amazing and I feel so lucky to have found you. I know you can get me though this and I know it isn’t an easy task!! Thank you so much for being there for me. You are a gift to everyone :)) S.P. in Oregon

(Dr. Moffat’s Note: S.P. also had me consult with her dog. Interestingly the dog had similar bowel issues and is taking a homeopathic for water-borne parasites that is responsible for some of her symptoms as well. I’ve always said that when a human gives up on their health issues that God brings them a pet with similar issues. This way they can see  other options for their own healing through healing their pet. I actually think that many spiritually advanced animals volunteer for these jobs.)

Well, it’s time to wrap this newsletter up. The thermometer continues to rise into the high 80s in our neck of the woods. Our giant pumpkins are loving it. Mine is definitely over the 320 pound mark and going strong. I made our first vegetable fettuccini this year with veggies entirely from our garden. I’ll have to post that recipe for you soon.

Hope you all are having a great, relaxing summer and spending time with the people who love and appreciate you most. Be well. Denice
