A Consumer’s Dictionary of Food Additives
Imagine wanting to make cookies and not having the proper food additives to put in them so you send your child or husband to the store to pick up a few of them for you. “Oh, honey, could you pick me up some reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, high fructose corn syrup, malt syrup, caramel color, propylene glycol mono and diesters of fats and fatty acids, soy lecithin, BHT, citric acid, modified corn starch (but we’re already using corn starch—what’s this?), maltodextrin, gum acacia and oh, add in some artificial flavor.” Who makes cookies like these? Well, you’re trying to make Grandma’s Home style Chocolate Brownie cookies of course!

Pineapple
Pineapples are second only to bananas as America's favorite tropical fruit. One cup of pineapple has 82 calories and provides the following nutrients—many of which act as natural antioxidants to help in the prevention of oodles of diseases. I’ve had good luck with pulling out the center leaf. If it pulls out easily with a gentle tug, you’re probably going to get a great tasting, sweet pineapple (although I noticed someone had pulled the center leaves out of a whole table of pineapples on purpose at the grocery store the other day and none of them were ripe. It’s a gentle tug, not a yank! They even put the leaf back so the next person would be fooled!)

About.com Best Medical Intuitive WINNER for 2012!

Welcome to Natural Health Techniques. I am a naturopath, veterinarian, and medical intuitive with over 17 years of practice in alternative medicine. I work on the “family unit,” including both humans and animals, through phone consultations only.  To read more about me, Dr. Denice Moffat, read my biography.

A healthy body is a guest chamber for the soul; a sick body is a prison. Health is the presence of vitality, passion, loving, and enthusiasm.”  Francis Bacon

The easiest way to use the Natural Health Techniques website is to go to the site map.

The site map lists all the articles and pages on the website. The other place that is helpful to go is the Index of Articles which lists all  the info I’ve written about in my newsletters. The links at the top are kind of like the books I’ve written. When you click on one of them you get to the “table of contents” page. All the “chapters” within this area of the website are listed on the right. I hope that is understandable! Enjoy.

People often ask me, “What kind of a practice do you have?” Well, it’s certainly not a normal practice, that’s for sure. Come to think of it. . .around here, NORMAL is just a setting on the dryer. I’m lucky and blessed to have a practice where I get to work with cells of all kinds be it animal, human, plant or energy fields of houses and yards with a mixture of dietary, nutritional, and Spiritual influence.  To read about What I Do, How I Work and the Costs of a phone consultation go to: http://naturalhealthtechniques.com/medical-intuitive-what-i-do.htm

Enjoy the Natural Health Techniques Official Website!

Namaste! (May the God in me honor and recognize the God in you!)

Note: We are listed in several phone books including The Hagadone Directory, Yellow pages, Verizon, Names & Numbers and the Dex Directory but some of the directions maps are incorrect. We are not a “Stop by/Walk in” type of practice. Email is good! It’s the best way to contact us. Thanks! Our Alexa ranking as of 3/3/13 is 123,660 in the US. Thanks for your support!
