I ask my clients what religion they are or what religious influence they had while they were growing up because it really influences our very essence of being. It’s not that I have judgment over any religion, it’s just that I try to talk in the words that their energy system recognizes.

There are definitely certain religious influences that stick with a person as well that influence the path to wellness. For example: Communion in the Catholic religion—I remember being in the little booth when I was a child having a hard time coming up with a sin, but if I made something up that would be a lie and therefore a sin. I talk to lots of Catholics that had this same experience. For Mormons it’s the pressure of memorizing the Articles of Faith. For Witness children who have converted to another religion it’s about being left out of holiday and birthday celebrations. Those seem to be the biggies anyway.

Animals pick up when their owner is uncomfortable with evangelists not associated with their owner’s religion as well. I’ve done quite a bit of emotional clearing on those situations over the years. And then of course there are melded families whose religious beliefs differ and how that upsets the family circle. I guess I could go on but it doesn’t really matter. All religions have wonderful stuff associated with them. You just need to find the one that works for you. Exploration is good, so here’s a list of the most common religions. Treat them as your Life Buffet. You can pick and choose what works for you.

If a religious organization had a website I tried to list their website but if it didn’t I just did the best job I could to list a site that gave the history and dogmas.
