What was the most unique species of animal you’ve ever talked with? The Iguana Cire (Eric spelled backwards). He was the first exotic animal I ever talked to and I didn’t know he was an iguana when I did the reading. After tapping in, I told the owner, “I’m licking the floor and it’s making me sick,” This made sense to the owner. She asked me if I knew it was an iguana I was reading and was I ever surprised. I could see an orange being and thought it was a Golden Retriever. This iguana had come from Honduras and now had full run of the house. Iguanas use their sense of taste to tell them about their environment. He was licking up residues of pine-sol on the floor that had been used for cleaning. Pets often know how to heal themselves so I asked him what he needed to heal and he told me sweet potatoes. Well, Cire had been to a local exotic vet and they had done all they could for him so she gave him sweet potatoes which cleaned out his liver. He started getting well after only three days. She never told her vet that she had consulted with me.

Where do you like to be petted most? “I like my chest scratched. It tickles. That’s why I try to use my back feet. I like all the other places, too, like the chin, my ears, and tail base. My back hurts a little bit around the bottom of the ribcage. My litter box is too high to jump into and it tweaks it right now. I’ll get over it in a week or two. I don’t like being patted on my back. I love sleeping with mom. I love feeling her breath on my face. I watch her sleep.” (He’s really getting into this interview now! Geez!)

Boo was using the bathmat in front of the litter box to urinate on. The owner was, of course, frustrated and sought out Lydia to find out why this was happening. Boo said, “The bathmat is new and I don’t like the odor of the rubber backing.” Boo continued, “I like my new uncovered litter box. I liked my old litter better, though. The new scented litter gives me a headache.”

Kathy spoke for Susan. “Yes! Charlie was my dog. Charlie is the one I came here to contact. He died two months ago, and I miss him very much.” I could hardly believe what I was hearing. I realized why I was having trouble identifying a person. It became obvious that the information was from the dog ! The dog was showing me things that he understood. “Charlie still sleeps with you at the end of the bed. Does that make sense?” “Yes. He would always come on the bed in the middle of the night. I would wake up and find his head on the pillow next to me.”
