There are no magical cures for eye floaters—only prevention for making more of them. Floaters are caused by a micro hemorrhage of the blood vessels in the back of the eye–when the bleeding contracts, the blood clot floats within the vitreous humor of the eye. After a time, the body adapts to the floater and is not consciously seen unless the person concentrates to see it. So “they” say. The goal is to strengthen the blood vessels so they won’t bruise or rupture.

Now, for the hair loss. I test that 70% of your hair loss is dietary, but only 30% is due to the fats that you are ingesting. Stress causes the hormones to be all whacked out, so you can loose hair because of that. Adrenaline in your body constricts the blood flow to the hair follicles (therefore lower amounts of nutrition are available to feed the developing hair). One exercise you can do often during the day is to say, “Scalp relax” and then note the amount of tension you are holding in your scalp.

Michael and I took off a day for our annual anniversary celebration to go pick huckleberries. We now have a 2-gallon stash to last us until next year. We were very discouraged to find that some people picking professionally were using metal rakes to harvest the berries. The process is doing quite a bit of damage to the bushes and breaking off all the berries that could have been harvested by others later. There were always plenty of berries for everyone before someone started doing this last year.
