Twelve Conditions for Health Miracles

(Expanded Version of the book centered on health by Dr. Denice Moffat)

Book Review: The Twelve conditions of a Miracle by Dr. Todd Michael (alias Michael Abrams) as summarized by Dr. Denice Moffat

I have always been an advocate of mentoring.

Initially, it was hard to ask if someone would be my mentor, but as I’ve learned, “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no,” so we now have a lot of power hitters on our mentoring team. When one of them recommends a book, we buy the book and read it.

One recommended book was by Dr. Michael Abrams (previous pen name) real name Dr. Todd Michael. My husband Michael and I took this book seriously. We made collages of each miracle summarizing the steps and choose pictures to key them into our minds. As you can see after reading the book, you can adapt it to any area of your life.

In this expanded summary of the Twelve Conditions, I have adapted it to the area of health. We sit and read our collages in the morning while we are drinking our coffee, visualizing and working the steps to make our lives a legacy of service.

It was a great book about the Universal Law of Cause and Effect specifically dealing with examining the bible passage Matthew 14: 13-23—the story of how Jesus fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes.

Here is the King James Version passage for your review:

14:13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: And when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was filled with pity toward them, and he healed their sick.

14:15 An when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, “This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.”

14:16 But Jesus said unto them, “They need not depart; Give ye them to eat.”

14:17 And they say unto him, “We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.”

14:18 He said, “Bring them hither to me.”

14:19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

14:20 And they did all eat, and were filled: And they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

14:21 An they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

14:22 And straightaway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

So, how did he do that I wondered? Can WE actually make miracles happen? Well, in another passage Jesus said, “You can and do these things and greater still.” So, let’s get to it and apply the principles to making health happen.

This is my book review of The Twelve Conditions of a Miracle. I’ve modified some of the thought processes to focus on creating the miracle of a healthy body. I’ve got to tell you that this book changed my life and I hope it changes yours. Highly recommended. Enjoy.

Here are the 12 steps:

  1. Emptiness
  2. Maximizing
  3. Asking
  4. Alignment
  5. Giving
  6. Grounding
  7. Restoring the vision
  8. Gratitude
  9. Acting as if
  10. Engaging the Cycle
  11. Receiving
  12. Recycling

Step 1. Emptiness—the Action Steps:

Clarify and refine what you need—What is it that you really want for your picture of health. What would you like to be able to do? How would you feel with perfect health? Address the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, financial and societal/family areas.

Release all ideas holding you back. Don’t be living those metaphors you grew up with that people you knew packed into your brain. Make up your own new metaphors. If it’s forgiveness of the self that you need, then do it and get over it. If it’s anger and resentment, find ways to work through and release it.

Visualize your body in perfect health (or as close as you can imagine it to be). When I started my transformation a woman came up to me at my first Contact Reflex Analysis seminar and told me that if I did what the doctor was telling me to do, I would have a totally new life within 90 days. Mentally I thought “What a crock of you know what. I can’t believe this guy. He’s even hired plants to seed in his audience to push his products” Whatever possessed me to do what Dr. Versendahl said to do?

I definitely think that it was divine intervention. When the 90 days came to be, I found myself to be healthier than I had ever experienced in my entire life. It was beyond comprehension. Little did I know that I had more shifting to do.

Sometimes you just have to go to the edge, take the step and know that Spirit will light the path with each step you take. Is it scary? Yes, sometimes. Is it worth it? I think so.

Meditate. “Meditation is the process of shifting awareness from thoughts to the breaks between thoughts”. Says Dr. Michael. With patience, practice, and persistence, the empty spaces between thoughts widen until one day you notice that that internal chatter is no longer the dominant pattern. The Universe abhors a vacuum. It will fill it with something else.

One simple, easy and fast meditation is the 4, 4, 8 meditation. Here’s how it works:

  1. Get centered,
  2. Breathe in, count 2, 3, 4,
  3. Hold it, count 2,3,4 and
  4. Breathe out, count, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

Repeat the process several times.Exercise. The safest, most effective exercise is accessible and free…walking. Walk 20-30 minutes at least 3 times per week.

Consider occasional fasting (review the juice and water fasting handouts)

Inspiration of the day:

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Helen Keller

That’s it for Step 1.

Step 2. Maximizing—The Action Steps:

Inventory existing resources and blessings. Who is on your team of healers? Who can you count on for support? What books/tapes and videos will you need? Do you have insurance? Do you know people who have been through what you are going through? Interview them.

Focus on what you have. What is working for you? What are you doing right? What do you have to be grateful for?

Maximize what you already have. Take stock of your strengths and weaknesses. Now focus on your strengths. What could you do to make them stronger? Spending time working on your weaknesses is not near as effective as accentuating your strengths.

Step 3. Asking—The Action Steps:

Formulate in your mind a clear request for health. Stay in the affirmative mode. I have and I am are good words to use. Your body believes every word you say orally or mentally. It does not hear the word NOT. So when you word a request using the word “not”, it deletes it.

Eg. I do not enjoy smoking. It is a disgusting, filthy habit and I am going to give it up.

Your body and brain heard, “I enjoy smoking and someday, maybe I’ll give it up when I have time, less stress, more money, a different partner, a different job, the perfect environment, or…”

A better affirmation or request would be: “I bless this habit and set it free to make room for bigger and better things in my life.” Resource: You Can Heal Your Life. by Louise Hay

Making positive affirmations is kind of tricky. Run your affirmations and written words by someone who will help you make it perfect and positive for you, and don’t ask a negative person to do it.

Put your request into words. Write it down. Include all the aspects of disease including physical, mental, emotional, Spiritual, societal and financial. What would you like as the ultimate perfect outcome of the process of healing?

Focus on the highest good for yourself and all concerned.

Keep your requests in general terms. After you have put your request into words, ask your mentors to round it out. When that’s done, add, “This or something better.”

Place your request in a prominent place for regular viewing and reviewing. Change or tweak it if you need to.

Feel what it would be like to manifest it.

Ask those people who have survived your particular ailment or those with great health to mentor you. Remember to honor them and let them talk without interrupting. Use the “but” reduction technique (Let your mentors talk without saying, “but”.) Thank them for sharing. Ask clarifying questions and then follow the Still Small Voice within yourself after you pray and meditate on the plan that is right for you.

Ask for ideas on resources you have not thought of. Be open to what the answers are. Act as if you’ve heard everything for the first time. Ask for clarification. Summarize what they told you and say it back to them. If you have to, use the “but” reduction technique again during this process.

Step 4. Alignment—The Action Steps:

Shift to a mindset of compassion and concern for self and others—Surround yourself with your tools and your mentors. Choose to spend time with those who are in alignment with your goals and desires. Put off that family visit, buy an answering machine, change doctors or other people on your healing team that you do not feel are totally supporting you at this time. Do what you have to do to keep focused on the positive and feel Spirit move in and through you as you become one with perfect health. Be strong about this.

When you learn of a problem or disaster, DO something about it.—Is there something you could contribute to others who are going through this process? It could be a kind word, thank you or note of encouragement. Do it.

Fine-tune your synchronicity—When the student is ready, the teacher appears. There are no coincidences in the world. Everything is in divine right order. Accept this and envelop it. Give thanks for those things that happen synchronistically. Acknowledge the synchronicity with a journal.

Take small compassionate unselfish actions—Read a book on boundaries. Set daily goals, but don’t stress out if you don’t complete them. Prioritize. Trust your gut instinct. Which activities will take you closer to health? What one small step in the right direction will take you there today?

Some days when my husband and I feel unfocused, we have a cup of morning coffee, Kava, or tea in bed and make up how our day will be. We make up who we will see, how we will touch someone’s life, what kind of prosperity will come our way, what we will have to be thankful for and other fun stuff. At the end of the day, usually over dinner we discuss what actually came true for us that day. We align how our life will be for the day. Resource: Personal Power II by Anthony Robbins.

Step 5. Giving—The Action Steps:

To me, this step in the process of health means working on those relationships that are important to you. It’s about cleaning up your life. Get rid of excess clutter. Consolidate and have a yard sale or release the items so they can circulate through people who will enjoy them. Give up control and having a controlling attitude. Let people live their lives free of guilt induced by parameters you feel you must set. Work to give unconditional love to your family and friends. Don’t attach conditions to the love. Make out your will. Give money to charities and endowments that use the interest for scholarships or budgets so that the gift you give will keep on giving years after you are gone. Do nice things. Donate some time to others less fortunate than yourself.

Sometimes when you change your attitude, you change your life and a new life comes of it. Then there is no reason to die, but plenty of reasons to live.

Step 6. Grounding—The Action Steps:

Case Study:  Jodene came to me because her left leg was swollen. She had just turned 85. As we talked I found out that 40 years previous she had her right ovary removed. She also had lots of gas. The herbs she was taking for the edema were no longer working. She mentioned that she did not have time for this problem as she was following the Old Time Fiddlers around the country in a few weeks and this was cutting into her square dancing time.

With the hints I gleaned and knowing some history about her, I knew that she would never accept a diagnosis like cancer (and she would not go to a regular doctor who might tell her that). The points that would weaken for cancer were not doing so with my muscle testing technique (the power of Jodene’s determination, no doubt). Maybe it was a cyst? I could only hope. .I had her lie down on the massage table and felt her abdomen.

As I palpated her abdomen I could feel the cancer. It was huge. But, many times tumors in the ovaries or testicles are walled off and don’t metastasize. What to do? I held her hand and guided it to the lumpiness in her abdomen and we explored the size and shape of the tumor together. “The lump is pressing on the circulation of the left leg and not allowing the lymph to circulate and this is causing the fluids to back up in your leg.” I said. “This is serious, Jodene.” I said. “I want you to promise me you will see your family doctor.”

I think she knew. She went square dancing one last time that night. The next day she went in to see her late husband’s doctor. That next afternoon she went in for surgery. They opened her up and then closed her without taking the cancer out. It had metastasized to the kidneys and all other internal organs including the intestines. I went to visit her in the hospital. She was so proud of the fact that she had been dancing the night before and couldn’t wait to get home. I had a hard time getting her to talk about the surgery.

She lived for about two weeks after that. Died at home. She was a living example of talking and acting like you really do believe. She grew a big garden and gave lots of vegetables and fresh baked bread away. She lived in the moment, took time out for fun, shucked her shoes on the dance floor…and she knew how to play. What a life. What a special person. I am truly blessed to have been touched by her existence.

Step 7. Restoring the Vision—The Action Steps:

What is Somatic Visualization? We were attending a Pioneers for the Possible seminar in Wilsonville, Oregon. where Dr. Jean Houston was the speaker. She took us through an exercise where we were to focus on something we really wanted. It was to match with our values, morals, dreams and goals. With our eyes closed we visualized that there was nothing was holding us back. We assumed that we had all the money, time and resources available to achieve our goal. Music, sounds, and movement aided us in this visualization process to make is a part of our psyche. This is somatic visualization.

Once you have a goal of health, envelop and enlist all of the senses that you can in the visualization process. Pick some special healing music for YOU. Give yourself some space. Stand in the middle of the room free of clutter. Close your eyes. Now, smell the results, taste the things you will do when you are healed, feel the environment. Where will you be? What will you be doing? Now act it out. Whatever it is. Move your arms. Do whatever motions it is as you do the tasks or live the healthy life you envision yourself achieving. Who will be there for you? What will they do to help you accomplish your goal? What will they be saying to you? Can you hear them?

By doing this on a regular basis, you will be training your brain to act on it. You can literally make it so real that your body believes it.

When in doubt, turn it over to God. –My favorite technique is to use my God Can. I write out my desire or prayer on a piece of paper after I have prayed and moved my feet and there is nothing else to do. I choose not to involve WAR (worry, anger, or resentment). I don’t tell God about my big problems, I tell my problems to my Big God, then I drop the request into the God Can and let God do the rest. The God Can comes with a tape that is packed with ideas and is an excellent tool.

Let negativity quietly deactivate.—Focus on the positive. When things are going right, say good things. When things go bad, say twice as many good things. We are the only ones that can hurt our feelings. I like what Wayne Dyer said, “If you think the world is the cause of your problems, it’s going to take a lot of money to get better, because you will have to send the rest of the world to therapy for that to happen.”

OK. . .maybe those weren’t his exact words, but that’s the general gist.

We are all masters of MSU (Making Stuff Up). My husband taught me this concept after taking many Empowerment of Listening courses by Carol McCall. Here is an example of MSU:

A friend of mine was going through a check out line one day. When she got up to the counter the checker threw her stuff down, barked orders at the bag person and grabbed my friend’s money from her. “How rude!” my friend thought.

As the bag person and my friend were walking out to her car, my friend expressed her feelings to the bag person.

“That was the RUDEST person I have ever met. They should really fire her.” The bag person said. “Oh, I know. Her son was hit by a car while driving his bicycle yesterday. She is just beside herself with worry. She can’t afford to take the time off, because she doesn’t have medical insurance and the doctor bills are piling up like crazy. The boy is still in intensive care in a coma.”

Did that change my friend’s attitude and judgment about the checker? I think so. MSU is at the core of most hurt feelings and disappointment. Ask clarifying questions so that you don’t fall into MSU mode, and make it a goal not to take things personally.

Sometimes when I find myself judging others I pretend that I am an actress. The part of play is Jesus. “Would Jesus be judging these people?” I think. Then I pretend to be Jesus and look at them with “soft eyes”. I can feel my facial expression follow my eyes. Finally my mental process follows and then my blood pressure goes back to normal and I calm down and just feel compassion.

We need to also feel compassion for ourselves if we are to heal fully. Forgiveness of the self is sometimes harder to do than forgiving others. So, don’t be so hard on yourself. Give yourself credit for all the good things you do and the good things you think.

Step 8. Gratitude—The Action Steps:

I hang wind chimes over a couple doors in our house. When we walk under them, we hit them with our heads. This was really annoying my husband until I told him that it was a reminder for me to live in the moment and give thanks. Kind of like my personal angel blessing. After that, he quite often knocks into them on purpose.

Cultivate a deep sense of appreciation. Express your gratitude in words. I think the easiest way to do this is by looking at the wide variety of flowers God has gifted us with in this realm. How do the flowers know when to change color? Which shape to be? How big to grow? It’s just an amazing thing.

People like to feel appreciated as well.

I made a deal with my last husband that I would not take him for granted. We promised to thank each other for the little things that we did for each other. After a couple years of this he got tired of saying thank you for most everything. My sense of feeling taken for granted expanded. It just drained my emotional bank account. One day, there was nothing left.

If you have not voiced your appreciation for the little things your partner does, start today. Yes, they may think that you are “up to something” for the first month or so, but keep doing it anyway. One day you will find that they start giving it back.

Speak positively to and of others. It’s easy to gossip. I fall into it if I don’t catch myself. There was a time that I never caught myself. Then one day, I found it no longer was serving me, my health or my business. I tried to stop cold turkey, but it is a process. I enlisted the help of some close personal friends. I gave them permission to say, “You’re doing it again, Denice.”

Gossiping allows your “little me” to take over. It’s EGO (Edging God Out), and it is not healthy. If you can’t say anything nice then don’t. Change the subject, then later ask God to open your heart and find a way to work through the negative feelings you have. Tomorrow is a new day.

Actively search for things to be grateful for. Start an abundance journal. Find three new and different things to be grateful for every day. Where the concentration goes, the energy flows.

Speak well of your health and of your life. Focus on what is working in your body and in your life. When someone compliments you or the progress you have made, don’t belittle it by pointing out how it could be better. Simply say, “Thank you.”

Step 9. Acting As If—The Action Steps:

Stop dreaming and visualizing—move your feet. DO something. Begin now. Avoid procrastination.

It’s time now to set some goals, make a plan and get to work. If you need a support group, find one. There are plenty out there—just make sure you work with someone positive. It’s a real downer to go to a support group where the people just whine about everything and have nothing positive to say. You don’t need it and it won’t make you healthy.

Take responsibility for your health. Stop blaming others for “messing it up”. What’s done is done. Now make the best of it and move on. The medical system is not there to hurt people. They want to make people well. If they could do a better job, they would.

Expect a miracle—know that it will unfold in its own time. If you can’t believe in miracles, find someone you trust who does and take the baby step of believing that THEY believe a miracle can happen for you.

Accept growth, but stay relaxed. Persist. You will have good days and then bad days. Keep a calendar. Write down all of your symptoms and then grade them on a scale of 0-5. Zero means you experienced no signs of your symptoms and 5 means that it was the worst it has ever been. One through four is anything in between. Add the points up week by week. You should have lower and lower numbers. Sometimes you just need to see a little progress to keep you focused. If the numbers are going up, you need to re-evaluate what you are doing and make some changes.

Identify snags that are holding you back. Take baby steps of action and corrective action.

When you take an airplane ride, the plane doesn’t just go from point A to point B. There are a thousand corrections along the way. Your health is like that too. If you continue to eat refined sugar, white flour, and nothing live every day, you can’t expect to get to your destination of perfect health.

Dedicate some of your highest energy time to taking steps of action. We all have high and low energy times. It’s a symptom of dis-ease. You will always have stronger and weaker organs depending on your genetic predisposition and environmental influences. Rely on this normal occurrence and block out a two-hour block at your highest energy time to work on the things that are most important to you regarding your health. If you can only spend 15 minutes a day, then do it. Just don’t miss a day. This is your life and it’s important.

Step 10. Engaging the Cycle—The Action Steps:

Be a team player. Never drop the ball. We’ve spent a lot of time in talking about setting up teams and support systems. We are all very busy people. It’s important that the time we invest is invested wisely. If you have people that are helping you and are loving you, don’t let them down. Do your best. Be supportive to them as well. If you commit to something like paying the bills or helping on a project, don’t be the person who holds up the project. When you do this, you bottleneck the flow of abundance.

Honor the ebb tide. Don’t panic when the tide goes out. There are situations in life that will temporarily pull you down. This is just a wake up call. Recommit and get back on track. When one door shuts, another one opens. As Gracie Allen used to say, “Don’t place a period where God has placed a comma.”

Use down time constructively. This is a time to regroup and reevaluate what you are doing. What is working for you? What isn’t? Are there any resources that you need to review? Are there others that you need to spend some time on now? Have you done everything you can, or do you need to change directions? The tide will come in again. Healing involves detoxification, rest, and rebuilding. This happens in cycles. (Review The Healing Crisis handout under the Basics of Health.)

Prepare to receive again.

Like an acorn destined to become a full-grown oak tree, you are wired to move into and express a greater version of yourself. An acorn will break through its shell, establish roots and send up a sprout. This God-seed is in you as well. You are far greater than you know and contain much more than you’ve ever thought. Life is beckoning you to grow to your full potential right now. Allow this process to happen.

So, you make the decision. Do you have something to accomplish in your life still? Something big that will require you to be healthy? If so, then you have some work to do to heal yourself and maintain the health. We are talking permanent lifestyle changes. These won’t happen overnight. They happen through awareness and going through cycles of learning, falling off the wagon, finding your way again and getting back on track. This process will continue faster and faster and eventually you will spend more time in health than not.

Step 11. Receiving—The Action Steps:

Allow resources to flow into your life. If someone offers to help you and it is in alignment with your goals and values, let them. Overcome low self worth. You are worthy of being helped. You don’t have to pay everyone back, you can pay it forward. It’s all part of the flow. I think most of us would love to be the start of a wave of good. Let us do that for you.

Pay attention. Illness is just a wake up call to pay attention to your body, your life, and how you are using it. Take time out every day to check in with your body and see if you are on the right track. Learn to listen and respond to what it needs. Do what it takes.

Sharpen your mind with meditation. We talked about this in Step 1—Emptiness. Review the steps and the other tips on meditation. Find your own way using tips and trials that you have gleaned from other sources.

Listen to the Still Small Voice. Everyone has one. It is just the degree of awareness that opens us up to listening.

Try this exercise:

Get centered. Take a few clearing breaths.

Now play one of those reels in your head of you tearing yourself down or calling your self stupid, or review a situation that you really didn’t handle correctly.

Now pay attention. Where is it in your body that you are feeling this energy? It’s different for everyone. I feel that type of energy in the center of my chest. It feels bad. This is ego talking.

Now, think about another time or two where you felt the power of Spirit in your life. When something happened that you knew was divinely guided. When you felt “in the flow” of things and everything was going your way.

Pay attention. Where is it in your body that you are feeling THIS energy? It is different for everybody and should be centered around someplace other than the ego.

Now when you ask for guidance from your Still Small Voice, your Higher Power, from God or your Angels or whatever you choose to call that Power, listen for the answer to come from this spot. If you get an answer from ego, thank it and let it go. Ask the question again and keep listening until you get the answer from your Still Small Voice. Follow this advice.

Believe that anything is possible. Miracles happen every day and are everywhere. It is only by removing the roadblocks to God’s presence that you will see this to be true. Sometimes we want a whopping big miracle. If that works for you, then I say “Go for it.” If it doesn’t, then maybe it’s time you lower your expectations a bit and start with small miracles. Give credit where it is due.

Did someone call you today that you haven’t heard from in years and never expected to? That’s a miracle.

Did you receive an unexpected check in the mail that just covers a bill you were wondering how you were going to pay? That’s a miracle.

Did you wonder how you were going to haul some big item to the dump in your car when a friend with a pickup dropped by and told you they would take it for you? A miracle.

There are angels everywhere. You are always being protected and watched over. Once a boyfriend and I decided to tour a ghost town in Nevada. We were in the middle of nowhere in a desert-type of area with no water when the car broke down. We could see nothing for miles except desert grasses and an old broken down barbed-wire fence. Some kind of fuse had blown out. It wasn’t a simple replaceable fuse. It was a fuse specific for that type of car. We tried using other types of wires to jury rig it together, but each time we turned on the engine the wires would burst. It looked as though we were stuck. Hardly anyone drove down that road and boy was it hot out. Then the miracle happened…

We heard a car come by, so we flagged it down. After looking over the situation the couple said, “You know, we saw a car exactly like this in a field about four miles back. I wonder if it would have its fuse?” So they drove us to the spot and there the car sat with bunch grass grown up all around it. There happened to be a house near by, so we went up and knocked on the door. The homesteader gave us permission to take the fuse. The couple then drove us back to our car. We put the fuse into the car and turned on the motor. It started right up. What a relief. As we turned around to thank the couple for all their help they were no where to be seen. Angels? We think so. We think they saved our lives that day.

Avoid limited, fearful thinking. When you open up your mind, you open up a whole new world of possibilities. Remember, FEAR is just False Evidence Appearing Real and usually arises out of ignorance. What are you afraid of? Is it death? Then do some reading on the death and dying process. Whatever it is, you can overcome it by asking for help. Ask, ask, ask, and keep asking until you get what you need.

Develop a sense of worthiness. Worthiness seems to be the most common Spiritual lesson that comes up during my intuitive exams. It’s a huge lesson intertwined with unconditional love of the self, forgiveness, letting go, self-esteem, boundaries, and a host of money issues.

When you overcome this one, you will have the world by the tail. It’s not an easy lesson to work through. What I have realized over the years is that those people you have in your life now may be mirroring these lessons for you. What are you learning from that? I believe this happens so that we can see all the faces of the lesson.

We experience it, see others go through it, see others as victims of it, see some people overcome it, and if we don’t get it after all of that, it seems that God brings you a pet with the same lesson or the same disease. When you think you have really learned and come to understand the lesson then just release it. Say, “God…I get it. Thank you for allowing me to experience this lesson. I’m ready to move on now to bigger and better things. Thank you.”

Try this for a week: With every negative self-deprecating thought that comes into your head replace it with the affirmation, “I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy.” Start reprogramming your nervous system into believing it. Reference: Prosperity Principles that Work by Jack Boland.

Step 12. Recycling—The Action Steps:

Periodically clean house and release things. Have a yard sale, have a give-away sale, let those that love you put their names on the things they want so when you pass they will have something to remember you by.

Recycle your life—Recycle your knowledge—pass it on. Do you have “secret” recipes, inventions or special knowledge that the world would be gifted with? If so, then pass that knowledge on.

Be a mentor, guardian, teacher and benefactor. Work with students and people you feel guided to. Make sure they have full knowledge and skills of the things you’d like to gift to the world. Pass on your values. Be an inspiration. No one ever knows how many lives they touch in a positive way. Make it a goal to touch one life in a positive way every day.

Make a will—Include charitable ventures. Pick out the music you want at your funeral. Write an epitaph—then strive to live by it. Let your requests be known so that negativity will not be surrounding your life.

Donate blood—Be an organ donor. If you or a loved one has ever received a donated organ, you know how many lives can be touched with this process. Give the gift of love. You won’t be using those organs where you are going.
