Dancing A Miracle

Dancing a miracle: The room became very dense, warm and quiet. It felt like I was within a womb of energy which came down from the ceiling like a wave, pushing down into the floor. And then I heard a voice say to me, “Hmm. I like what you’re doing here.” There was a pause, followed by, “Your wings will be here.”

The Daffodil Principle

The Daffodil Principle: “But first we’re going to see the daffodils. It’s just a few blocks,” Carolyn said. “I’ll drive. I’m used to this.”
“Carolyn,” I said sternly, “Please turn around.” “It’s all right, Mother, I promise. You will never forgive yourself if you miss this experience.”

The Cracked Water Pot

Th Cracked Water Pot: Did you notice that flowers were only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have always known aebout your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you’ve watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house.

The Cookie Thief

The Cookie Thief: With each cookie she took, he took one too, when only one was left, she wondered what he would do. With a smile on his face, and a nervous laugh, he took the last cookie and broke it in half. He offered her half, as he ate the other, she snatched it from him and thought… oooh, brother. This guy has some nerve and he’s also rude, why he didn’t even show any gratitude!

Charlie’s Monument

The Monument: God, before he sent his children into the world, gave each of them a carefully selected package of problems. These, He promised smiling, are yours alone. From Charlie’s Monument

Chain of Love

Chain of Love: He said, “I’m here to help you ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Joe.” Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Joe crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down her window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid. Joe just smiled as he closed her trunk.
