Workshop for the Law of Attraction:

Abraham as channeled by Ester Hicks

These are notes from an Ester Hicks tape that was lent to me at one time. I was so impressed with her work, I took notes. I often use this as a handout in my practice for those clients who seem to always focus on the negative and what is wrong with themselves or their lives.  It is a basic Law of the Universe that we get back what we give out in our thoughts and deeds.

Notes from Abraham:

For the best use of this exercise you will need 15-20 minutes wherever you are not distracted. You do not need to be in a meditative state, but be in a place you can give thought to what you are wanting. You must have the ability to put emotion into it for best results. Be happy going into the workshop.

To start the exercise, visualize music, interacting with animals, being next to the water, dancing or whatever gives you an uplifted feeling of “all is well”. Now sit and start the workshop.

You will bring to the exercise and assimilate data into a picture of self that satisfies and pleases you. You will only visualize what you would like to be or become. Discard what does not fit the picture of what you would like. Look for things daily you like to bring into your workshop. What are you thankful for today? Write it down if necessary. Is it apparel? Life experiences? Jobs? Emotions? or the ways people are treated? Bring this information with you to the exercise.

The Workshop: (an example)

After you are relaxed and in the moment you will start your workshop saying something like. . .I like being here for I recognize the power of this time. I feel very good as I am here. I see myself as a sort of total package, a package I know that is of my creating and a package of my choosing.

I am full of energy in this picture of self, tireless really, moving through life experience with no resistance. I see myself gliding about in this picture of self moving in and out of my car, in and out of buildings, in and out of rooms, in and out of conversations, in and out of life experience. I see myself flowing effortlessly, leisurely, comfortably and happily. I see myself attracting only those who are in harmony with my current intent. I see myself clearer and clearer in every moment about what it is I am wanting.

When I get into my automobile and moving, I see myself arriving at that place healthy and refreshed, on time, and prepared for whatever it is for I am about to do there. I see myself dressed to perfection, in just the manner I choose for myself. And it is nice to know that it matters not what others are doing or what others are even thinking about what I am doing. What is important is that I am pleased with me. And as I see myself in this picture of self, I certainly am.

I recognize that I am unlimited in all facets of my life. I have a bank account, a checkbook balance that is unlimited and as I see myself moving through life, experiencing it, and exhilarated to know that there is nothing that I am doing limited by dollars.

I make all my decisions based on whether I want the experience or not, not based on whether I can afford the experience or not. I have recognized finally that I am a magnet that attracts whatever prosperity, whatever health, whatever relationships that I choose as any point in time. I choose absolute and everlasting, continuing abundance, for I understand that there is no limit of abundance in the universe and that by attracting it to me I am not limiting another. There is enough for everyone.

The key is for us to see it and want it and then we will attract it. And so I have chosen unlimited, not necessarily putting a big stash away, for I am understanding that I have the power to attract it as I am wanting it for whatever I am wanting it for. As I think of something that I am wanting the dollars flow to me easily and so I have an unlimited supply of dollars for abundance or prosperity.

There is abundance in all aspects of my life. I see myself around others who, like me, are wanting growth. They are drawn to me by my willingness to allow them to be, or do, or have whatever they are wanting while I do not need to draw into my experience those things that they may be choosing that I do not like.

I see myself interacting with others, talking, laughing, and truly enjoying that which is perfect in them while they enjoy that which is perfect in me. All of us appreciating one another and none of us criticizing or noticing those things that we are not liking.

I see myself in perfect health. I see myself in absolute prosperity. I see myself invigorated with life, appreciating again this physical life experience I wanted so very much as I decided to be a physical being. It is glorious to be here, a physical being making decisions with my physical brain, but accessing the power of the universe through my emotion. The power of magnetic attraction. The power of the law of attraction.

It is from this marvelous state of being that I now attract more of same. It is good, is fun. I am liking it very much.

And now my work for this day is done. I will leave this workshop and I will set out the remainder of this day looking for more things that I like. It is nice to know that if I see one that is prosperous but sick, I do not need to bring the whole package into my workshop, just the part that I like. So I will bring the example of prosperity and I will leave the example of sickness out. My work is done.

You are utilizing the law of attraction in everything you do. It is inherent. Your focus must be deliberate on what you want knowing that as you focus on it more thoughts will be gathered to it making it stronger and more powerful to bring it about faster. Flitting from thought to thought, without focusing on one thought will not bring about any real power. Achieve a state of being in your mind through which you will attract. Seeing yourself as who you want to be, letting that be the basis of the magnet which attracts more energy to it.

It is an advantage to surround yourself with people who look for the best in you.

Sometimes people surround themselves with people opposing what they want to make them want it more so. You attract from the Universe that which you give your attention to. Emotions that are negative are trying to tell you this is not what you are wanting. The more powerful the emotion, the greater the attraction power.

Pay attention to the positive details of what you want and connect emotion to it.

Stop the negative creating. If there is negative emotion, then change the thought to a positive thought as soon as possible. If negative emotions keep coming forth ask “what thought has brought forth this negative emotion?”

When the thought or culprit has been identified talk about it to yourself adding new information until you actually change or alter or bridge the old belief to something that is new. For example when someone is talking negatively and your inner guidance if feeling uncomfortable this means that what you are hearing, thinking and about to speak about is not in harmony with your intent.

Make a clear decisive decision to change the subject to something more positive. If your friend continues and won’t let you alter or change the subject (this happens to our self-talk as well) then we must deal with it. When the negative emotion comes, say to yourself: “What thought brought that forth?” Tell yourself this is a thought you held until now. Now we know that we are the creator of our experiences and can make new ones. Each time it comes up, deal with it in this way. It will eventually go away.

That which you are not attracting you are repelling. Conscious repelling is not good. It focuses your attention to what you are trying to repel. When you are focusing on it, you are attracting it. Do not give thought to evil. Do not acknowledge it. Evil is that in which each of us believes is not in harmony with what we are not wanting.

Discovering what you are wanting then attract it to your experience. That is why you are here. It is never necessary to have a bad experience to see what you truly want. Emotion comes forth with living it, dreaming it or imagining it. Be very clear about your intentions in your workshop. If you want yellow and blue and get green your intentions were not clear enough.

Thought is the vehicle to which all things are attracted to. Know what you want. Don’t let others determine your experiences. Don’t listen to your critics. Allow others to be what they came here to be. Focus on what you want to be/do/have and be an example to others in the positive.
