Zone Recipes for Breakfast

Ahh, a work in progress but I’ll keep adding some zone balanced ideas to these Zone pages. Here are some balanced Zone recipes for breakfast.

Turkey, Dairy, Bread, Nuts

Meal #1: (3 blocks)

  • 6 Turkey Sausage links
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 piece toast
  • 9 nuts.

Egg and Rice with Cheese

Meal #2 (2 blocks) 

  • ½ cup cooked brown rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tea Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sliver of cheese

Lightly brown the rice in the olive oil. Plop the two eggs onto the rice and top with the sliver of cheese. Put a lid on the pan and cook on medium-high heat for 3 minutes and serve.
